I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Astronomy, University of Cambridge. The focus of my research is to model the origin and evolution of warm exozodiacal dust. This is dust which is seen in the habitable zones of other stars and is analogous to the zodiacal cloud of our solar system. Warm exozodis are a ubiquitous component of planetary systems which are a source of noise and confusion for detection and characterisation of Earth-like planets. I develop models of dust and comets to understand the origin and prevalence of this dust and constrain the underlying planetary systems.
